"I Am Sitting in A Room" is a psycho-acoustic classic by Alvin Lucier for voice and tape. The phrases describing the action are recorded, then played into a room and re-recorded. And that goes on over and over again. Collage artist Residuum takes the text by Lucier and let the computer speak it. And as a computer can only speak virtually, the technique is applied to virtual space, i.e. a plugin, that simulates the echoes of real space. Over and over again, 59 times, to be precise. And...

Welcome to Drone Lab. Since the creation of this page, the music and the motivations behind the music have changed considerably. Drones continue to comprise a large amount of what gets hosted here, but melody and structure find their way into the mix. Loops, textures, more than a little noise... The tunes alternate, generally, between light and dark ambient. That wasn't part of the original plan, but right now it works well enough so we're sticking with it. Explore. Download. Share. Electric Sheep is a distributed computing project for animating and evolving fractal flames, which are in turn distributed to the networked computers, which display them as a screensaver. Process The process is transparent to the casual user, who can simply install the software as a screensaver. Alternatively, the user may become more involved with the project, manually creating a fractal flame file for upload to the server where it is rendered into a video file of the animated fractal flame....

Sid's remake of The Terrible Truth is, in many ways, superior to it, if only because by the mid-sixties there were a lot more ways for kids to get themselves into trouble. This is a warning about the path of casual drug usage leading to "the point of no return" and the user being permanently lost to society. Jeanette is introduced to drugs through her new boyfriend and casually pops pills for the first time. However, she rapidly progresses into more extreme forms of drug usage,...

Home movies are motion pictures made by amateurs, often for viewing by family and friends. When the hobby began, home movies were produced on photographic film, but availability of video cameras and camcorders and digital storage devices has made the making of home movies easier and more affordable to the average person. The boundaries between consumer movie-making and professional movie-making are becoming increasingly blurred as prosumer equipment often offers features previously only...

[lyrics] "Goodnigh," says the sun. The day, nearly done. Hello to the moon, the only one; Showing memories of you; the journey's just begun. "Goodbye," mountain side, Washing away over time. Maybe someday, I'll be strong for you; Casting the shadows silver to the moon. "Goodbye," all my friends; Onward, the journey never ends. Throwing away all of me, to bring a piece of you; The memories will always be a victory for two.

In what could easily pass as a Twilight Zone episode, this film shows what happens when a troubled carnival owner returns back to his childhood home to escape God. Films like this would be shown to adult church groups to stimulate discussion - things like “was this man being stalked by Jesus in wooden shoes?” or “why was this film so creepy?” It was made by prolific Christian director Rolf Forsberg (The Late Great Planet Earth, Jesus Roast), featured veteran film actors Jack Hawkins...

Anita Bryant (famous Florida orange juice and anti-gay spokeswoman) narrates this film that tries to simplify its drug abuse message with an analogy of kids putting together a contraption out of Lego blocks. Although the metaphors often don't make sense, the visual impact of the film is stunning and could easily be quite popular with individuals consuming illicit drugs. Also, like most anti-drug films, this could be a tempting introduction to drugs for some youths yearning to escape their...
